Morine Wangechi
Research Scientist
is a passionate geophysicist and environmental enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya). Her career began with an internship at Biojoule Kenya Limited, where she contributed to producing clean, affordable energy for agricultural farms. She later worked as a Sustainability Assistant in the agricultural sector, focusing on precision agriculture, soil and crop health, as well as energy, water, and waste management. Morine recently interned at the State Department for Petroleum, Kenya, where she was involved in geophysical and geological data acquisition and processing for resource identification across Kenyan sedimentary basins. Driven by a keen interest in environmental conservation, she is currently exploring soil science and seismology to advance sustainable agriculture. She is eager to apply her knowledge and passion for innovation to promote sustainable practices that support both the environment and agriculture.
